About Valoh
Valoh was built to be the independent layer for AI brand measurement — on the same side of the line as Nielsen, DoubleVerify, and IAS. Independence isn't a marketing claim. It's a structural choice that has to be made before the company sells anything.
Why Valoh Exists
The first wave of AI-marketing tools sells optimization: how to get your brand named more often, ranked higher, framed more positively. That category is real and growing. It is also a category that no one in the room can independently verify.
Every prior measurement era — TV, display, programmatic — eventually needed an independent vendor to publish the numbers the optimization vendors were claiming to move. Valoh exists to be that vendor for AI.
Valoh measures. We don't recommend. We don't optimize. We don't take referral fees from the vendors who do.
The Independence Principle
Lineage
| Era | Optimization vendors | Independent layer |
|---|---|---|
| Television | Agencies, ad networks | Nielsen |
| Display advertising | Ad servers, optimization tools | IAS, MOAT |
| Programmatic | DSPs, SSPs, optimization platforms | DoubleVerify |
| SEO | SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz | Search Engine Land, Sistrix (incomplete) |
| AI brand presence | AEO / GEO tools | Valoh |
SEO is the era that didn't get a clean measurement layer. The optimization vendors became the measurement vendors, and the result was that nobody at the executive level could trust the numbers. AI brand presence is on track to repeat that — unless the independent layer is built deliberately, before the optimization vendors absorb the role.
